LED Holiday Lighting Rebate Program

To help our members make the conversion to LED lighting this holiday season, United Power is once again partnering with our power supplier, Tri-State Generation and Transmission to offer rebates for LED holiday lighting.

Customers may purchase their LED holiday lights at any retailer, and simply submit the receipt, box ends and rebate application to receive rebates of $2 or $4 per strand, depending on the length of the strand.

Purchase LEDs after October 1, 2009. Rebate applications will be accepted until January 31, 2010.

Program Details

• Your purchase of LED Holiday Lighting qualifies for rebates of:
  $2 per strand of 49 lights or less.
  $4 per strand of 50 lights or more.
  
  
• You must be a United Power member to receive rebates on LED lighting. If you receive your electricity from United Power, you are a member!
  
  
• LED Rope lighting, pre-lit trees or wreaths and other decorations do not qualify for rebates.
  
  
• Completed application packets must be received or postmarked by January 31, 2010.
  
  
• Completed application packets must include:
   Rebate application form.
   Copy of purchase receipt.
   A box end, or portion of the package, for each strand you would like to receive a rebate for. Each must say ‘LED’ and include details on the number of lights per strand.
  
  
• Rebates will not be granted for incomplete application packets.
  
  
• Rebates will be issued as a credit on your United Power electric bill and will be clearly delineated.
  
  
• Please allow at least two billing cycles for rebate credit to appear.
  
  
• Rebates apply only for LED decorative light strands. All bulb shapes and colors of decorative LED light strands qualify.
  
  
• Rebate application packets must be received or postmarked by January 31, 2010.
  
  
• This rebate has no limit.
