Stop Existing Service

To Stop Existing Service, call Customer Service at 303-637-1300 or click on e-bill at the top of our homepage

To Stop Exisiting Electric Service from e-bill, login and select 'Service My Account' and then 'Disconnect Existing Service' from the menu. Review the acknowledgment statements, check the accounts that you want to Stop Service and click submit.

If you are not currently an e-bill user, the registration process is simple and allows you immediate access to view your account details, make payments online, make account updates and sign up for services like Stop/Cancel Service—all with the click of a mouse.

Acknowledgement statement to cancel existing service:

A customer wishing to discontinue service shall give a minimum of three (3) days’ notice to United Power, excluding weekends and holidays. This allows time for final meter reading and disconnection of service. The customer will be liable for service until final reading is done by United Power. If you should have any questions or concerns please contact Customer Service at 303-637-1300.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
