As a member of a Touchstone Energy® Cooperative you receive free access to the Touchstone Energy® Home Energy Saver, an online audit tool. This powerful software tool allows you to perform a comprehensive audit of your power usage, and provides you with recommendations for improvements you can make to reduce your energy use. Created by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, it is one of the nation's highest rated audit tools available.

One of the best ways to learn about these technologies is to access information available from the U.S. Department of Energy's site, A Consumer's Guide to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Information available at this site include design and remodeling ideas, comparisons of difference heating and cooling technologies, and information on Energy Star labeled appliances and products. The U.S. Department of Energy also hosts the Energysavers.gov website; this educational outreach campaign aims to help consumers be more energy efficient and save on energy costs.

Another great tool is the Energy Savers guide, which is available for download from the Department of Energy, or call our External Affairs Department at 303-659-0551 and we'll gladly mail one to you. The booklet provides a simple step-by-step guide for consumers to gauge improvements they may make in their home and what they can expect for savings.
