Power has been restored to all members, ending the outage.

Update 5:00 a.m.

Crews have determined the outage was caused by a piece of failed equipment on the west side of I-25. All members in Dacono have been isolated and restored. Most members in Erie have also been restored. A few meters remain without power while crews work to make repairs.

United Power crews are investigating two outages in Carbon Valley. The first outage is affecting approximately 780 members living south of Dacono. The second outage is affecting 1670 members living south and east of Erie. Both outages begain around 3:45 a.m. Crews are working to identify the cause and restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
