There are downed trees all over our mountain territory. We appreciate the reports from members and wanted to provide this helpful information so you know when to call United Power and when to call 911 when you see a tree in a line.

Primary vs. Secondary Power Lines – What is the difference?
⚡Primary lines: located at the highest point on a pole and run pole to pole. These lines carry high voltage and are maintained by United Power.
🏠 Secondary lines: usually a single line from the pole to your home and are lower voltage lines.

🚨 When should you call 911 and when should you call United Power?
📞Please call 911 for fires or true emergencies. Trees on secondary lines - without fire or immediate danger - are not emergencies.
📞Call United Power at 303-637-1350 to report trees on lines. Please be assured that the next available lineworker will respond.

By calling the right place, you help:
✅ Keep lineworkers focused on restoring power
✅ Keep emergency responders available for real emergencies
✅ Keep your community safer
