On Saturday, October 19, United Power will interrupt service to members in the cooperative’s mountain territory for approximately two and a half hours. This outage is necessary to allow Xcel Energy, the transmission provider for this area, to safely replace critical equipment that serves the canyon.

The outage is planned to begin at 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, and should be completed by 1:30 a.m.
